Indie Chefs Week is Back March 15-18

Southern Comfort Chef’s Table

We’re excited to host our friends Allison Vines-Rushing and Slade Rushing from MiLa Restaurant in New Orleans for a 5-course dinner to celebrate the release of their new cookbook! Ned and Allison worked together in NYC years ago, so we’re very excited to have her and Slade in our kitchen!

Allison (James Beard Rising Star Chef of 2004) and Slade opened MiLa in 2007 to showcase classic Southern dishes with updated techniques from their home states of Mississippi and Louisiana. Their new cookbook, Southern Comfort, brings those inspired regional dishes into the kitchens of home cooks.

To celebrate the recent release of Southern Comfort, we’ll be hosting a 5-course dinner featuring recipes from the book. Diners will also receive a signed copy of the book to take home.
